On April 21, 2026, Professor ZHANG Xinsheng, professor ZHAO Tongsheng and associate researcher ZHAO Guodong from Insitute of Changli Fruit Research, specialized in apple research, visited Chengde Jiawo Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. to carry out a cooperation and matchmaking activity between the academy and the enterprise. Chengde Jiawo Ecological Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd. is a provincial-level leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, and a core leading enterprise in the provincial industrialization consortium. In 2022, it was awarded the title of "National Ecological Farm".

In the company, based on the actual needs of the company in terms of variety renewal, disaster prevention and mitigation, fertilizer and water management, and fruit quality improvement, the expert team conducted in-depth exchanges with the enterprise and reached multiple consensuses around the construction goal of high-quality agricultural innovation stations in Hebei Province in 2026. A cooperation agreement was jointly signed between the institute and the enterprise to promote the establishment of a demonstration model base for core apple technologies and accelerate the promotion of new varieties and green, simple, efficient technologies. This signing ceremony and subsequent precise services will effectively promote the deep integration of technological resources and enterprise needs, providing strong support for enhancing the production level of the county's fruit industry.

The expert team, along with the company representatives, visited the Manzhangzi base to conduct a training session on the new technology of "Xinongjin" high grafting for variety improvement. On-site training was provided on simplified techniques such as pruning and pre-flowering re-pruning, offering practical guidance to seven technical backbones. Additionally, challenging issues such as fertilizer and water management, as well as variety matching, were discussed at the company's Wulongji and Shenshuihe bases. Currently, it is a crucial period for fruit tree management. The technical solutions provided by the expert team for scion grafting, fertilizer and water management, flower and fruit management have been implemented at the production front line.
