On April 2nd, experts from the national green manure industry technology system and jujube industry technology system, as well as relevant experts from Xinjiang jujube experimental station, Shijiazhuang peach experimental station, and Shijiazhuang apple experimental station, gathered at the Jinzhou Green Manure Demonstration Base of the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Environment to have investigation and academic exchange.

Jinzhou Zhoujiazhuang Green Manure Comprehensive Demonstration Base is supported by the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Envirnment of HAAFS. Through the integration of green manure planting, chemical fertilizer reduction, and bacterial fertilizer application, it demonstrates the functions of green manure orchard, such as fertilizing and soil improvement, ecological prevention and control, quality improvement, and landscape ecology. It improves the economic contribution of the old pear garden from multiple perspectives, and promotes the rural revitalization of Hebei fruit producing areas.

During the discussion, everyone unanimously agreed that green manure plays an important supporting role in fruit tree production. We hope that the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Environment can continue to leverage its technological advantages and provide comprehensive services for fruit tree green production.
