September 23rd is the autumn equinox in the Chinese traditional 24 solar terms, and also the fifth "Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival" in China. The rice field painting of "A land of fish and rice, a paradise of hundred birds", designed and produced by the Institute of Agricultural Information and Economic, has attracted tourists to visit and take photos among the ridges of the fields.

Xiong'an New Area is located at the bank of Baiyangdian Lake, with a long history of rice planting. Baiyangdian Lake has a vast water area and rich aquatic animal and plant resources, known as the "land of plenty". It is not only a rice planting base, but also a bird feeding base in Baiyangdian Lake. At the bank of Baiyangdian Lake, there is a large area of golden rice planting area. Stand by the side, you can see the words "A land of fish and rice, a paradise of hundred birds" in Chinese with different colors hidden inthe rice field. The fragrance of rice in the field is overflowing, and the grains of rice are full and waiting for harvest. This is created by the Institute of Agricultural Information and Economic of HAAFS and the planning team in cooperation with the "Land of Fish and Rice" National Modern Agriculture Complex Ecological Demonstration Park.

This compound rice ecological demonstration area has planted many varieties of rice since this year, including 1500 mu of pearl rice, 1500 mu of native rice and 190 mu of colored rice. The compound ecological planting mode of rice fish symbiosis, rice crab symbiosis and rice bird symbiosis is adopted to build a "land of fish" modern ecological agriculture demonstration area integrating modern smart agriculture, homesickness culture display, parent-child research and education, and urban agricultural sightseeing.
